Scene 8: Goku’s Time is Running Out…

Heidi *looks at the clock*:  "Holy crap.... I've been gone for... almost an hour and a half?!?"  *looks back down at Goku*  "Darn it, I knew I should have asked Gohan the time equivalents before I teleported to that planet..."
Chi Chi:  “I might have to call a doctor...  Goku looks like he's getting worse...”  *she starts crying as she heads down the hall*
Heidi:  "ChiChi!!  A doctor can't help...  But... Goku will get better, I promise... If not, you can blame it on me...  But there's nothing we can do...  All we can do right now is wait..."
*Heidi sits down on the chair next to the bed*
*As of now Gohan and Ritz have summon the dragon and are about to make the wish....*
*but as Heidi is sitting waiting for Gohan and watching Goku, she hears a scratching on the window from outside...*
Heidi *stands up and tenses*:  "Who's there??"
*there's no answer and the scratching continues...*
Heidi *cautiously walks over to the window*:  "Who's out there?!?"
*there's still no answer...*
Heidi:  "Baka..."  *charges a ki blast and moves directly in front of the window and gets ready to fire*
*but she doesn’t see anything there and wonders if whoever is out there is now hiding....*
Heidi *glances at Goku then opens and sticks her head out the window*:  "Come out you baka!!”
*suddenly, a little bronze colored dragon flies into the room and lands on the bed and sits on Goku's chest...*
Heidi:  "What the--?!?  Hey!!  You shouldn't be in here!!  What if ChiChi comes in here??  And besides, Goku's sick!!"  *goes over to shoo the dragon away*
*the little dragon growls and hisses at Heidi when she gets near Goku..  Its eyes are glowing red...*
Heidi:  "Fine then, you can stay.  But if You hurt Goku, I'm gonna hurt you..."  *sits down in the chair next to the bed*
*the little dragon growls some more at her...*
Heidi:  "Hmph..."  *then looks at Goku*  "Goku-chan..."  *reaches out to touch his face*
*the dragon bites Heidi’s hand...*
Heidi:  "Agh!!  You lil baka!!"  *stares at the bite mark*  "What's your problem?!?  It's not like I'm gonna hurt Goku!!"
*Goku has woken up from the noise...*
Goku:  “What's going on….?”  *his voice is barely above a whisper*
Heidi:  "Ah!!  Goku-chan...  Sorry, I didn't mean to make so much noise...  It's jus' that this dragon... um..."  *glares at the little dragon on him*
Goku:  “Rawcliffe..  Did you bite her...”
*Rawcliffe chatters some and rubs his tiny head against Goku's cheek*
Goku:  “He doesn't know that you weren't going to hurt me..  He's sort of protective of me...”  *then strokes Rawcliffe's head*  “She's a friend..  She won't hurt me...”
Heidi:  "I see...  Um...  Goku...  Have you... been having any dreams?"
Goku:  “No...  If I did, I don't remember them.....”  *sighs*  “No.. wait, I did have one....”
Heidi:  "What was it?"
Goku:  “I was falling...  Like into a really deep hole that had no end....  Then I don't know what happened after that...”
Heidi:  "A hole with no end?  All you could see was darkness?"
*Goku doesn't answer for he has passed out again...*
Heidi:  "Goku??  Oh Kami no...  Not that dream..."  *clenches a fist*  "Gohan, you'd better hurry up..."
*but just as Heidi says that, she hears something outside*
Chi Chi *screaming*:  “There's a dragon in the yard!!!!!!”
Heidi *head snaps up*:  "Sorry Goku, but I'll be right back.  Rawcliffe, make sure Goku is okay until I get back."
*Rawcliffe chatters his reply...*
Chi Chi:  “Heidi see if you can get rid of it!!!  It might kill us!!!!”
Heidi:  "Coming Chi-Chi!!  Thanks Rawcliffe..."  *runs out of the room*
*Chi Chi is now hiding under the table in the kitchen*
*Heidi opens the front door and runs out*
Nite:  “Geez, I forgot how frantic Goku's wife was....”
Gohan:  “That's Mother for you......”
Heidi *laughs*:  "Well, Gohan, was the wish granted to us?"
Nite:  “There's your friend...”
Gohan:  “Yeah, I think so...  But how do we know that we are linked?”
Heidi *smacks forehead*:  "I'll explain inside...  Probably with Goku if he wakes up again...  But..."
*Gohan tries to slide off Nite's back but falls and lands bottom first on the grass...  He quickly stands up making it look like nothing happened...  Heidi sweatdrops*
Gohan:  “What's wrong?”
Heidi:  "Goku's... not doing very well...  And... he's having some pretty bad dreams... Actually, lemme rephrase that, very bad dreams..."
Gohan:  “Dreams...  That doesn't sound good...”
Nite:  “Dreams can be bad...  Ones that tell the future are worse...”
Heidi:  "Very true...  And the problem is, that dream Goku told me about is one that I used to have when I was out on the streets by myself.  And that's not a good thing cuz that dream can cause a person to stop believing in things... in themselves.  That's the reason for the link.  Because Goku is out so much, we don't know what's going on in his head."
Gohan:  “We better get inside and take care of my Dad...  Nite thanks for bringing me home.”
Nite:  “You're welcome.” *then takes off and disappears in the sky*
*they go back into the house and Heidi notices Chi-Chi stil hiding*
Heidi:  "ChiChi, the dragon's gone...  Besides, it wasn't going to hurt us..."
Gohan:  “Mother..  It's ok..  It was only Nite...  Don't you remember him?”
Chi-Chi:  “He was that dragon who was hanging out with that crazy Saiyan...”
Gohan:  “Yes, it was him.. But Ritz isn't crazy..”
Chi-Chi:  “Oh, I think all of those Saiyans are crazy......”
Heidi:  "I'd prolly think most dragons are crazy after what Rawcliffe did to me a couple minutes ago..."
Gohan:  “Rawcliffe..  He's being bad?  Oh, I know what will keep him busy....”  *reaches in his pocket and pulls out a small bag*  “Come on..  Let's go to Dad..”
Heidi *walks into Goku's room and sits down in the chair again*:  "Goku?"
Gohan:  “Oh, Rawcliffe...  Look what I got for you...”
*Rawcliffe’s perks his head up and looks at Gohan*
Gohan:  “Mmmm...  Senzu Beans....”
*Rawcliffe flies over to Gohan and grabs the bag with his tiny claws.  He sits on the window sill and begins to eat them*
Heidi *smiles at the little dragon and then looks down at Goku*:  "He looks a bit worse than earlier..."
Gohan:  “Poor Dad....  I hope he gets better soon...”
Heidi:  "Well, probably not soon, but I'm gonna see how well he's doing right now..."
*Goku is moaning in his sleep from the discomfort of his illness*
Heidi:  "Goku?  Crap... I hope this works..."
*Heidi closes her eyes and concentrates for a second on Goku*
*Goku hears her in his sleep...*
Goku:  “Heidi are you there?  I can't see you....”
Heidi:  "Goku... I'm right here..."
Goku:  “Where are you?  I can't see anything...  It's too dark....”
Heidi:  "Goku...  I know I can't see you either, but I am with you.  You're not alone in this darkness.  I'm with you right now in your heart, in your mind."
Gohan:  “Oh, if only you could send him an image of yourself along with your voice..  That way he'll know you're there.....”
*Heidi’s concentration breaks and she find herself back in the room*
Heidi:  "Gohan you baka, you're not helping!!"  *smacks him in the back of the head with her hand*
Gohan:  “Ow…  What?  I was making a suggestion...  That's how Rawcliffe talks to my Dad..  He uses images to speak instead of words since he can't talk..  That's the only way my Dad understands him...  They are linked through mind and heart...  Although sometimes Rawcliffe's images are not always clear......”
*Goku has woken up again...*
Heidi:  "Goku??  You alright??"
Goku:  “Did you just smack Gohan?”
Heidi *laughs*:  "Uh-huh..."
Goku:  “Well, Rawcliffe just send me an image of you smacking Gohan right after he send one of him eating the Senzu Beans and sticking his tongue out at me....  Gohan you know better than to give him those!!! He knows that he isn't supposed to eat them...”
Heidi:  "Gohan you baka!!"  *smacks him again*  "You're lucky I don't have the frying pan right now!!"
Gohan:  “Dad...  I'm sorry...  I didn't mean to give them to him....  I gave them to him keep him from biting Heidi..Besides he's hungry...  And please don't hit me with the frying pan....”
Heidi *sweatdrops*:  "Next time you do something stupid, it's the frying pan though..."
*Goku is now shivering*
Gohan:  “Dad why are you shaking?”
Goku:  “I'm cold....”
