Scene 9: Repairs
*Trunks wakes up and sits up quietly, not to disturb the
sleeper near him*
*he lifts Gohan’s arms and head, sits on the edge, and places her on his lap*
*Trunks looks down at Gohan-san and smiles to himself*
*he plays with Gohan hair*
Chibi Gohan: “Mmm....” *moves a little but still half-asleep*
“Don't bother me Mom... I'm trying to sleep...
I stayed up late studying....”
*Trunks smiles*
Mirai Trunks *whispers*: “Gohan-san you’re so cute when you sleep.”
Chibi Gohan *still half-asleep*: “Mmm... Trunks-chan....?”
Mirai Trunks: “Hello there sleepyhead.”
*Gohan opens her eyes slowly then looks up*
Chibi Gohan: “Oh... Trunks-chan...” *blushing*
“I was just dreaming...”
Mirai Trunks: “About what Gohan-san?”
Chibi Gohan *looks away*: “I was dreaming... about... life, as it normally
was... before Veggeto blew the Earth up...”
Mirai Trunks-Chan *looks at Gohan*: “Yes, I cant forget it either...
but we are alive, there is
hope through us. We can bring the
earth, and everyone back...”
Chibi Gohan *looks up at Trunks*: “Yes... there's hope... but are you sure we
can actually pull this off? Even with an enemy on our tails?”
Mirai Trunks *smiles*: “I’m sure Gohan-san..”
Chibi Gohan *smiling*: “Well then.. I believe we can too....”
Mirai Trunks: “Besides, *smiling
even more* “with a kamehameha like that you can level a big guy like Veggeto.”
Chibi Gohan: “Heh... thanks... I've been practicing when my mom let's me off
of studying...”
Mirai Trunks *surprized*: “She lets you stop studying?”
Chibi Gohan: “Well, at least one day a week...
I'm glad she does... my head gets too full sometimes and I need to
relax...”
Mirai Trunks: “I don’t know how you do it Gohan-san…”
Chibi Gohan *sweatdropping*: “Well... my mom's been pushing me ever since I
was little... I just hope I can live up to her expectations...”
Mirai Trunks: “What are your expectations Gohan-san?”
Chibi Gohan: “Well.... right now... I guess I just want to live up to my dad's
reputation as a hero... and studying is out of my mind right now...”
Mirai Trunks: “I’m sure you can do that Gohan-san.”
Chibi Gohan: “Thanks... I'm sure I can with you beside me...”
*Gohan and Trunks feel a tremor that spreads throughout the ship*
Chibi Gohan: “Huh?”
Mirai Trunks: “What happened?”
Chibi Gohan “It feels to me as if the ship's about to fall apart....
Maybe we should check what damage we've done... it's lucky to even still
be here after my Kamehameha…”
*Gohan gets off of Trunks’s lap and stands up*
Mirai Trunks: “Thats right, we did some pretty heavy damage.
How big is this ship anyway... where’s
the control room?”
Chibi Gohan: “Dunno... I might have passed it on the way here....”
Mirai Trunks: “Well, when you were killing off all the soldiers did you see
anything?”
Chibi Gohan: “Hmm... no... They
were basically in one room... I
think their quarters were near the room I found them in... since they kept
pouring in after I beat up a ton of guys.. The room I was in seemed like the gravity room where your dad
trains...”
Mirai Trunks: “That will come in handy...
and even more so now we know there are still threats besides Veggeto.”
Chibi Gohan: “Yeah...”
*Gohan walks over to the door*
Chibi Gohan: “Come'on, let's get to the control room and see if we can fix the
ship...”
Mirai Trunks *stands up*: “Alright.”
*Gohan walks out of the room, keeping guard up, just in case any idiot got away*
Mirai Trunks *following Gohan*: “I have no idea where we are going...”
Chibi Gohan: “Well... neither do I... I just hope I did see that control
room...”
*Gohan and Trunks walk down the long corridor, looking in rooms, but continue*
Chibi Gohan: “Hmm... where is it?”
Mirai Trunks: “Hmm…”
*Trunks looks into random doors down the hallway*
*Gohan looks in a door to find a dining room but pushes the thought of food out
of her head*
Mirai Trunks *looks at Gohan*: “Find anything?”
Chibi Gohan: “Ummm... no... not yet...”
*Trunks shrugs it off, and keeps searching*
*Gohan giggles to herself but still can't find the control room*
Mirai Trunks *looks up, powers up, and flies down the hallway*: “Hey Gohan-san
if this is like Friezas ship, it will most likely be at the end of the
hallway.”
Chibi Gohan *watches Trunks fly away*: “Hey, wait up!!”
*Gohan powers up and flies after him*
Mirai Trunks *smiles*: “Come on...”
Chibi Gohan: “Sorreee....” *Man,
I didn't think he'd b THAT full of energy when he woke up.*
Mirai Trunks: “This is a huge ship!!”
Chibi Gohan *looking around*: “Well duh, that’s obvious.”
Mirai Trunks *goes ssj, flies
faster* *smiles*: “Well ‘duh’? He
he”
Chibi Gohan: “Hey!!”
*Trunks continues down the corridor, and a large doorframe comes into view*
*he comes to an immediate halt and powers down*
*Gohan powers up to SSJ to catch up*
*Trunks looks back, sees Gohan coming torward him*
Mirai Trunks: “Ahh!” *ducks*
*Gohan flys over his head and into the room ahead*
Chibi Gohan: “Heh... sorry...”
*Gohan stops abruptly in the room, powers down, and lands*
Mirai Trunks *eyes wide*: “Hmm... maybe I shouldn’t do that anymore.”
*Gohan sits down in an odd looking chair, breathing heavily*
*Trunks walks into the room, towards Gohan *
Mirai Trunks: “Not that tired, are you?”
Chibi Gohan: “Hey, you're the one who was in the healing pod... all I got was
sleep.”
Mirai Trunks *sweatdrops*: “Oh, yea.”
Chibi Gohan: “It's okay... I'm gonna live anyway...”
Mirai Trunks *stomach growls*: “That pod doesn’t feed you though...
Did you see any food on the way here?”
Chibi Gohan *laughs*: “Yeah, I did…”
Mirai Trunks *staring at Gohan*: “You saw food and didn’t tell me?!? *falls
over*
Chibi Gohan: “.... but we'll eat as soon as we're sure that this ship isn't
going to blow up on us...”
Mirai Trunks *stands up*: “Erm... yes, maybe we should eat later…”
Chibi Gohan: “Okay...” *turns to the controls*
“Now let's see what we have here...”
*Gohan presses a couple buttons in sight*
*symbols come up on the screen in front*
*Trunks and Gohan look up at it*
Chibi Gohan: “Um... problem here... that's no language I know...”
Mirai Trunks: “Erm..” *looks at the flashy light* is that red blip good?
I may not know many languages... but
red is normally not a good thing…”
Chibi Gohan: “Um... I don't know... I think...” *looks at the red blinking
area* “I think that's the ship...
and the red blinking is saying that something wrong in that area... really... it
does look like a map of the ship... and the red area...” *gulp*
“Is in the back of the ship I guess...”
Mirai Trunks: “Engines?”
Chibi Gohan: “Yeah... that's what I was thinking...
I'll have to go check it out...
Mirai Trunks: “Um... I’ll go see if any more damage occurred..”
*Trunks thinks of the room with food*
Chibi Gohan: “I think you should also see if you can find a way to change the
language…”
Mirai Trunks *falls over*: “Shoot.. erm, I mean alright Gohan-san.”
Chibi Gohan *laughing*: “It can't be too hard... your mom was able to get a
scouter to tell things in our language...”
Mirai Trunks: “Yes... a scouter
is one thing.. and entire ships computers another.. But I’ll try..”
Chibi Gohan: “Okay. Also try to see if there's a com system on the ship
also... that way we can stay in touch....”
*Trunks walks over to the console and starts hitting buttons*
*Gohan starts to leave the room when the lights go off*
Mirai Trunks: “Erm... sorry”
*Gohan sweatdrops*
*Trunks presses the light button*
Mirai Trunks: “I found the lights on switch!”
Chibi Gohan: “Well, just don't turn it off while I'm in the engine room..”
Mirai Trunks: “I wont, I wont.. “
*Gohan flys off*
*Trunks continues pressing buttons*
*all the doors slam shut, then open again*
Chibi Gohan *muttering to herself*: “Crap, how big is this ship?!?
I've been flying for minutes, but I haven't found the engine room!!”
*Gohan hears a beep*
Mirai Trunks: “Hey Gohan-san, testing, one
, two, three..
helllooo, can you hear me?”
*Gohan stops flying and looks at a small spear in one of the walls*
Chibi Gohan *holds down the button next to it*: “Um, yeah Trunks-chan?”
Mirai Trunks: “Where ever you are, just talk normal.
I should be able to hear you...” *Trunks hears a loud beep*
“Agh!! Also..
don’t press the buttons...”
Chibi Gohan *sweatdropping*: “Very funny.. I was thinking it's kinda like a
walkie-talkie back on Earth...”
*Gohan flys off again*
*Gohan hears a "wo-hoo" on the PA*
Chibi Gohan: “Huh? What'd u
figure out?”
Mirai Trunks: “Ok Gohan-san I got a map up!”
Chibi Gohan: “Um, ship map, or a star map?”
Mirai Trunks: “Ship map... i have
no idea where the star map is...”
Chibi Gohan: “Can u tell where I am though? I'm kinda lost...”
Mirai Trunks *mumbles*: “Erm... you seem to be right there.....” *says* “Ok Gohan-san,
you’re gonna take the 4th door to the right...”
Chibi Gohan: “Okay...”
*Gohan passes 3 doors and come to a stop in front of the 4th*
Chibi Gohan: “This one?”
*the door opens*
Mirai Trunks: “Um did the door just open?”
Chibi Gohan: “Err... yeah....”
Mirai Trunks: “Then thats the one.”
Chibi Gohan: “Okay...”
Chibi Gohan *glances at the sign by the door*: “Yeah.. it has the same symbols
from the map...”
*Gohan walks in*
*Trunks sees a series of computer screens light up,
at the same time, the symbols turn into English*
Mirai Trunks: “I got the language working!”
Chibi Gohan: “Great!!”
Chibi Gohan: “Now... let's see... what's wrong in the engine room?”
Mirai Trunks: “Wo-hoo! Expresso
button. That kaiser guy knew how to
live...”
Chibi Gohan *flys further into the room*: “Really... I don't know what's wrong
in here...”
Chibi Gohan *sees some steam shooting up from an area*: “Could that be it?”
Mirai Trunks *drinks his expresso*: “Find anything?”
*suddenly something explodes in front of Gohan’s face*
Chibi Gohan *coughing*: “That wasn't me, I swear!!”
*loud beeping occurs in main control room*
Mirai Trunks: “Agh!! What just
happend!!??”
Chibi Gohan: “Dunno... check the temperatures for the engines!”
Mirai Trunks *spills expresso in his lap*: “Agh!”
*Gohan sweatdrops hearing the shout on the P.A.*
Mirai Trunks: “Erm.. ok…”
*Trunks presses some buttons*
Mirai Trunks-Chan: “I’m sendin a readout...
there should be a screen to your left”
Chibi Gohan: “Okay...”
*Gohan looks to her left just as a small holo-sceen appears from a device*
*Gohan flys over*
Chibi Gohan: “Yeah... the engines must be overheating... I musta somehow
accidentally hit it with a blast or something when I was attacking Kaiser's
men…”
*Gohan remembers a ki blast being reflected*
Mirai Trunks: “Hmm..”
Chibi Gohan: “Crap....” *stares at the screen*
“Okay... I think I know what's wrong...”
Mirai Trunks: “What is it?”
*Trunks brings up screen of engine room*
Chibi Gohan: “One of the pipes was knocked loose......
I think it was the cooling mechanism.... I think...”
Mirai Trunks: “Can ya fix it from there?”
Chibi Gohan *looks around*: “Yeah... welding metal should be easy with a ki
blast...”
*Gohan spots the pipe that was knocked loose*
*Gohan flys over and inspects what happened*
Chibi Gohan: “Um... that could be a problem... the pipe's kinda twisting back
under some other pipes....”
Mirai Trunks: *I gotta change..*
*Gohan tries to grab the pipe but instantly pulls back*
Chibi Gohan: “Crap!! It's
freezing!!”
Mirai Trunks: “Hmm.. The
cooling..”
Chibi Gohan *getting a little irritated*: “Yeah, don't u think I already said
that?? Or are you still thinking
about that spill?!?”
Mirai Trunks: “Sorry I’m wet..”
*Gohan growls*
Chibi Gohan: *at least I'm here fixing this instead of him...*
Mirai Trunks: “Erm.. Do you want
an expresso?”
*Gohan smacks her forehead*
Chibi Gohan *angrily*: “No...”
*Gohan kicks the pipe in anger but makes it worse*
Chibi Gohan: “Oh great...”
Mirai Trunks: “What ya do!?”
Chibi Gohan: “Oops... sorry... I'll fix it on the double!!”
*Gohan bends down and reaches between the pipes*
*Trunks makes another expresso, at the same time searches for some clothes...*
Chibi Gohan: *crap... it's freezing... maybe i oughta use some ki to keep myself
from freezing my arm off*
*Gohan powers up a little and focuses the ki on her arm*
*Gohan grabs the pipe and pulls it back into place without screwing it up*
*she creates a ki blast with the other hand to weld the two pieces of metal
together*
Mirai Trunks *finds a black gi...*: “Hmm..
This doesn’t leave much to the imagination.. erm..
Well it’s all that can fit me..” *puts on the gi*
*Gohan sighs as she hears that on the PA*
*Gohan tries to get up, but her arm is stuck*
Chibi Gohan: “What the...”
Mirai Trunks: “Agh!! Erm..”
*stumbles around to find the off button*
Mirai Trunks: “No off button!!! Agh!”
Mirai Trunks: “Erm.. Gohan-san...
You didnt hear that.”
*Gohan notices some iced formed around her arm, locking it in place between the
pipes*
Chibi Gohan: “Okay.. whatever... but i'm in a little situation here”
Mirai Trunks: “What’s goin on?”
*Gohan pulls as hard as she can but the ice is totally frozen*
Chibi Gohan: “Crap... if i keep pulling.... um... Trunks-chan...”
Mirai Trunks: “Wha?”
Chibi Gohan: “I got my arm stuck while trying to repair the cooling
system....”
Mirai Trunks: “...”
Chibi Gohan: “There's ice around my arm, and it doesn't seem like it can break
apart....”
Mirai Trunks: “Why dont ya just ki blast it?”
Chibi Gohan: “You want me to blow up the ship by causing a chain reaction?”
Mirai Trunks: “Um.. no not really... well.. how can I help?”
Chibi Gohan: “Try shutting the engine off...”
Mirai Trunks: “Oh...”
*Trunks flicks a few buttons...*
*all the lights go off.. all the sound stops.*
*a few seconds later the red light kicks in*
Chibi Gohan: “Huh? What
happened?”
Mirai Trunks: “I couldnt turn off the engines by themselves...
they give power to the entire ship..
so i had to turn off everything..”
Chibi Gohan: “Well... that's fine...”
Mirai Trunks: “This is the reserve power were usin’.. so hurry up”
*Gohan powers up to SSJ to have some light*
*tenses up and jerks arm back, sort of damaging the pipes again*
Mirai Trunks: “That didnt sound good...”
Chibi Gohan: “Argh... stupid hole that got me stuck just got a lil bigger....
There was a hole i missed that still had the cooling stuff coming
out...”
Mirai Trunks: “Oh boy..”
Chibi Gohan: “Okay, well, i'd better fix it...”
*Gohan folds the metal that was sort of ripped upwards back down and uses a ki
blast to melt it*
*Gohan inspects it one last time*
Mirai Trunks: “Everything good?”
Chibi Gohan: “Yeah, that should do... you can use the main power system
now...”
*Trunks flicks a few buttons*
Chibi Gohan: *It'd better not do something again or I'll just fix it from
scratch*
*everything turns back on*
Chibi Gohan: “Anything else still damaged?
Besides any rooms?”
Mirai Trunks: “We have a problem..”
